Glenn Highway & Muldoon Road Interchange Project Update

Beginning 8:00pm Friday, September 15, southbound Muldoon Road will be CLOSED between the Glenn Highway and Boundary Avenue through 5:30am Monday, September 18, weather dependent.

Please plan to follow DETOUR routes via Boniface Parkway and Debarr Road. The west half of the Muldoon/Boundary intersection will also be CLOSED during this time, please plan to follow DETOUR routes via Debarr Road and Turpin Street. Northbound Muldoon Road will remain open at all times, as well as all pedestrian routes.

FUTURE ROAD CLOSURE: Beginning 8:00pm Wednesday, September 20, the northbound on-ramp to the Glenn Highway will be CLOSED through 5:30am Monday, September 25, weather dependent. In addition, beginning 8:00pm Friday, September 22, northbound Muldoon Road will be closed between Boundary Avenue and the Glenn Highway through 5:30am Monday, September 25.  Please plan to follow DETOUR routes via Debarr Road and Boniface Parkway. Southbound Muldoon Road will remain open at all times, as well as all pedestrian routes.

A NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN is now in effect at the diverging diamond interchange. To view an instructional driving video for this interchange, please visit www.glenmuldoon.com.

Be alert to a NEW TRAFFIC PATTERN for pedestrians. Pedestrians should access the pedestrian route on the west side of Muldoon Road at Boundary Avenue and follow the pedestrian route and use crosswalks at the intersection. The pedestrian route between Boundary Avenue and the interchange on the east side of Muldoon Road is permanently CLOSED.

Be alert to intermittent LANE RESTRICTIONS, Monday through Friday, from 7:00am to 5:30pm.
