Muldoon Chamber Organizing Committee to meet Thursday, November 29th

Muldoon Chamber of Commerce organizers will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, November 29, at the Starbucks in Fred Meyer, 7701 Muldoon Road, to form an advisory committee for a new chamber. It is anticipated that the Muldoon Chamber of Commerce for businesses in the 99504 zip code will launch after the first of the year with lunchtime meetings. Anyone interested in helping set up and launch the new Chamber is welcome at the meetings.

JBER Community Environmental Board to meet

The Fall Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER) Community Environmental Board meeting is scheduled for 7 p.m. Wednesday, November 15th, at the Fairview Community Recreation Center, 1121 East 10th Avenue, Anchorage.

The public is invited to attend and take part in discussions. Scheduled topics for discussion include:

1. JBER 1,4-Dioxane Study Results
2. JBER Conceptual Site Model
3. Otter Lake Restoration

Alaska’s Changing Climate: Impacts, Policy and Action Forum

Join us for a free, non-partisan public forum to look at the big picture of how climate change is affecting Alaska and what action we need to take to adapt to and mitigate these impacts.
