Muldoon Chamber of Commerce organizers will meet at 6 p.m. Thursday, October 25, at the Starbucks in Fred Meyer, 7701 Muldoon Road, to form an advisory committee for a new chamber. A second meeting is planned for Thursday, November 29. It is anticipated that the Muldoon Chamber of Commerce for businesses in the 99504 zip code will launch after the first of the year with lunchtime meetings. Anyone interested in helping set up and launch the new Chamber is welcome at the meetings.

Construction begins on Muldoon Town Square Park
Construction of the front portion of the Muldoon Park Strip – the part we call Muldoon Town Square – began in August 2016 and is expected to be complete by fall of 2017. Phase 1 plans call for an all-inclusive playground, an ice (skating) ribbon, pavilion, bridge across the creek, a home for the Muldoon Farmers Market and more! At least two more phases are to follow to finish the park on the old Alaska Greenhouse site at DeBarr & Muldoon.
