PEOPLE MOVER 2019 SERVICE CHANGE
The Municipality of Anchorage’s Public Transportation Department has a service change scheduled for People Mover on Monday, July 1, 2019.
 
WHAT DOES THIS MEAN FOR ME?
People Mover regularly revises routes and service to recognize changes in travel patterns, improve on-time performance and serve you better.
We understand our service changes can impact your ride and
we want your input.
THIS SERVICE CHANGE WILL PRIMARILY AFFECT THE ROUTES 40, 55, 65, 91, & 92
ALL ROUTE SCHEDULES MAY BE AFFECTED

Anchorage Transportation Fair Thursday, February 6

When: Thursday, Feb. 6, 2019, 3 to 7 p.m.
Where: Alaska Airlines Center Auxiliary UAA Campus, 3550 Providence Drive
Via Bus: Ride bus routes 10, 20, or 55

The Alaska Department of Transportation and Public Facilities and partners, including the Municipality of Anchorage, Alaska Railroad Corporation, and Anchorage Water and Wastewater Utility, invite you to participate in the Anchorage Transportation Fair. The event is a “super open house” providing a showcase of walking, biking, driving, rail, and aviation projects and plans within the Municipality of Anchorage and main corridors to the Mat-Su and Kenai Peninsula.

The Anchorage Transportation Fair is free and open to the public. Parking is free.

Glenn Highway & Muldoon Road Interchange Project Update

UPDATED OFF-RAMP CLOSURE: Both of the southbound Glenn Highway Off-ramps to north and south Muldoon Road will be CLOSED from 9:00pm Friday, July 15, until 5:30am Monday July 18. Please follow construction signs for DETOUR routes to the Boniface Parkway Off-ramp, looping back onto the northbound Glenn Highway, and exiting by way of the northbound Muldoon Road Off-ramp.

UPDATED ON-RAMP CLOSURE: The southbound Glenn Highway On-ramp (to downtown) from north Muldoon Road will also be CLOSED from 9:00pm Friday, July 15, until 5:30am Monday July 18. Please follow construction signs for DETOUR routes, and use Debarr Road or Boniface Parkway as an alternative route.

Traffic traveling north and south on Muldoon Road, and those using ramps on the south side of Muldoon Road overpass will be uneffected throughout the CLOSURES.
